Davidson’s Mains, Edinburgh 

A thorough revamp of this family bathroom created a walk-in level shower to assist with mobility needs, while retaining the bath area. The original bathroom was fully stripped out and all drainage lowered to below floor level, to allow the installation of the level access wet floor. The lower end of the bathroom was also thoroughly moisture-proofed for added peace of mind. 

Laufen’s Val washbasin provided a compact solution, while giving the client the desired capacity. The new room was then fully covered in structured tiles to minimise the risk of slipping and present a relaxing spa-like feel to the space.
